![]() ![]() I was wondering how you guys use PHPStorm (or any other IntelliJ IDE) with WSL2. Chrome always starts with a blank page and i am unable to debug anything. Add the remote-debugging-port option manually with port 52421 and used another chrome-user-data folder. Step 2: Switch to the Apps tab and click on Advanced app settings. Changed the path directrly to chrome.exe under Tools -> Web Browsers. functionally everything works but it still feels a bit clunky. Step 1: Open the Start menu and click the gear-shaped icon to launch the Settings app. Having to open PHPStorm on the command line, fuzzy fonts and icons. So far this seems to be the best option but it still doesn't feel right to me. If your variable has spaces, use quotes.Example - APIKEY My Key. ![]() Add your variable as APIKEY123 at the end of the file. Go to the end of the file using arrow key. The last thing I tried is install PHPStorm inside WSL2 and run the GUI with x410. WSL Linux set env variable permanently from a bash terminal. Supported Ethernet NICs for network kernel debugging in Windows 10. I tried the synchronize files with network share option in PHPStorm, this works great when I change a file and the file automatically get uploaded to the share but when files changes on the server I have to manually download them to the local files which is not really an improvement for my workflow. Other scripts can ask for Quit any running instance of Chrome. I often develop packages and I don't like having to wait on indexing the vendor folder all the time. This works but the indexing is really slow when working with composer and the vendor folder. Install PHPStorm natively on Windows 10 and point it to the project files on the \\wsl$ share. The only thing that bothers me is PHPStorm. I have WSL2 running with docker and it works great. I have always developed on Mac and Linux before but now I have to work on Windows 10. ![]()
